4. Stamping: The stamping press applies force to the metal using the dies, shaping, cutting, bending, or forming it according to the design specifications. Different operations like blanking, piercing, forming, drawing, and embossing can be performed in this step.


5. Ejection: Once the metal has been formed, it is ejected from the dies. Scrap material, known as "flash," is also removed during this stage.


6. Additional Operations: After stamping, additional processes such as welding, assembly, heat treatment, or surface finishing may be performed to complete the part.

1. Dies: These are specialized tools made from hardened steel that contain the cavities and cutting edges needed to shape the metal. They consist of two parts: the upper (punch) and lower (die) halves.


2. Blanking: The process of cutting the metal into a flat shape or blank.

4. Forming: Bending, shaping, or deforming the metal to achieve the desired geometry.


5. Draw/Form Die: Used for shaping the metal by drawing it into a cavity using a punch.
