To determine the contact pressure of side earthing contacts of socket-outlets, the temperature of the pressure plate, of the base and of the specimens being (23± 2)° C and the force applied being 300 N, in accordance with IEC60884-1 figure 8, VDE0620 figure 8,IS 1293 Fig 22 and clause 24.5.
Standard Outfit:
1 steel pressure plate thick 5 mm;
1 sets of weight with 300N.
