Roofing Performance with External Fire Tester, Env1187

Summary
TESTECH FTech-ENV1187 is a tester designed based on BS EN 13501-5 and ENV 1187 for roof material performance determination when expose to external fire. There are four test methods to assess the performance of roofs under the following conditions:
ØTest 1 - with burning brands
ØTest 2 - with burning brands and wind
ØTest 3 - with burning brands, wind and supplementary radiant heat.
ØTest 4 - with two stages incorporating burning brands, wind and supplementary radiant heat.

Test 1 - with burning brands
Model: FTech-ENV1187-T1

1. Basket, dimension 300 mm x 300 mm x 200 mm, made from 3 mm diameter mild steel wire mesh, mesh size about 50mm x 50mm, the top and bottom of basket are open, and four projecting leg 10mm long, the mass of basket is about 650g ± 50g.
